Hot BDSM Starts With Good Porn

I recently checked out the movies 50 Shades Of Grey and I really have a few problems with the movie. My first problem is that it doesn't reflect the face of BDSM. If you want to get true bondage and domination flavor, then you'd be better off checking out Sex And Submission.
Now, I know that this movie has been around for awhile, but I only recently saw it on DVD. That's because I had already read the book and couldn't believe how bad that pile of crap was. Cardboard characters, lack of any substantial plot and not representative of the BDSM at all. Like I said, if you want to see true domination action, then check out Sex And Submission.
Before I continue however, I want to say something up front. I am not an expert on BDSM by any stretch of the imagination. I am not a card-carrying member of this community and have only dabbled in bondage and submission. With that being said, however, I still think that I am more qualified to talk about this lifestyle and genre than EL James.
What really blows me away is that the book started out as Twilight fan fiction. Yes, you heard that correctly. It was her take on the glittery vampires and was posted to an online fan fiction site. However, since it was too erotic, it was taken down and she was forced to change the characters and publish the novel.
And that is how it was born. A novel that has earned EL James about $80 million dollars. It was also a novel that pissed off a lot of people in the BDSM community. It also pissed me off. Because I feel that it not only maligns this genre, but seems like pretty lazy writing as well. Besides the fact that the fucking is pretty damn vanilla.
Of course, there are a lot of people who believe that she created a new genre of porn—'mommy porn', however I'm not one of them. Erotic fiction has been around since the written word, and many housewives have been reading these “throw-away novels” for a long time now. I'm not even going to give this author that much credit.
In my opinion, she got lucky. She caught a wave at the right time and was able to capitalize on it. Good for her. However, I wish she had taken such a cheap shot at the BDSM community while she was doing it. I think porn sites such as Whipped Assare more representative of the community than this book, the subsequent movie and probably the sequel. If you are truly looking for bondage flavor, then visiting one of these sites is the way to go, so do yourself a favor and do that instead of checking out the book, the movie or the sequel. You'll be glad that you did. Until next time, be safe out there and make sure to have some fun.
