Did the Internet Popularize Shemale Porn?

Do you like chicks with dicks doing all kinds of nasty things? Well, if you do, then you have certainly come to the right place. We are going to be talking about the Internet's love for sluts with nuts. Particularly as it applies to porn sites such as Shemale Idol.
I have always been fascinated about how the Internet may have influenced porn. How many sexual preferences—many of them that may have been considered underground—have come to the forefront during the World Wide Web era. I just wonder if they would have come to prominence if the Internet was never created in the first place.
And I think this question can be examined through the lens of shemale porn. While I believe that transgender porn emerged in the 1970s, it wasn't until the digital age that it came until it own. What I mean is that very few people viewed this type of porn. I just wonder what happened between then and now.
Perhaps the medium has a lot to do with it. The transsexual porn of the '70s had to be purchased either at a video store or through the mail. Which made it difficult for those who were marginally interested in chicks with dicks to “try out” this type of porn. For many people, it would have been intimidating to walk into a video store and pick up a copy of Shemale Encounters.
However, I think it goes even deeper than that. I think a lot of guys wouldn't have known they would have liked it in the first place. There wasn't anyplace a guy could go to privately sample transsexual porn. Not like what can be done today.
Just think about it. A guy is in the privacy of his home and he's surfing the net. Everything is going fine and then he runs into some shemale porn. Since he's alone he decides to take a look at it and see what it's about. As he's watching it something funny begins to happen. He realizes that he actually likes it and he wants to see more of it. Before long, he's watching all the tranny porn he can handle and becomes just one more guy adding to the popularity of this genre.
That is why I think shemale porn has become so fucking popular. Thanks to the Internet, guys can sample tranny porn and decide for themselves if they like it or not. Something that would have been almost impossible to do during the 1970s and incredibly hard during the 1980s. It's only when the Web comes on the scene that the popularity of this genre skyrockets.
I guess you can say that today's shemale porn can give its thanks to the creation of the Web. If it wasn't ever invented, then this genre of porn would still be underground. Which is a shame because I think that if that happened it would have had a negative effect on transgender acceptance in this country. And besides, we wouldn't have badass sites like Shemale Idol to enjoy.
