Hats Off To British Porn And Freedom

Now that it appears that the British government is taking a softer line on the issue of blocking people's access to internet porn, I would like to take a moment to celebrate with my friends across the pond. Hmm, what is the best way to celebrate? I think a little time on British Gals will do the trick.
Before we start talking about British Gals, however, let me take a moment to clarify what I am talking about. Late last year, there was talk that Britain's top ISPs were going to block adult content for their customers. These ISPs stated that they weren't going to block completely, they were just going to instill obligatory parental controls. While the ISPs in question said that the controls weren't going to be set by default, but there were a number of reports which suggested that customers would be forced to opt-in on these controls, if they wanted to view porn.
Soon after, Parliament chimed in on the situation. Many conservative Members of Congress threw their support behind this endeavor and some actually called for the permanent banning of porn. If these conservatives had their way, then UK citizens wouldn't be able to view porn sites such as British Gals. Is that ironic, or what?
This anti-porn stance is losing support among many MPs, however. This is mainly due to pressure from internet freedom groups. These MPs are still behind parental controls, but they are withdrawing from their stance from an all-out porn ban. While I'm not a citizen of the UK, I can clearly say that I am glad. Porn should be enjoyed by all adults, no matter where they live in the world. So go ahead and feel free to beat the bishop to some great online porn. Us Americans are behind you.
I am sure that this debate isn't over completely, and that internet porn may eventually come under fire again, but for now it's a positive thing. All I can say to my friends across the pond, is to keep up the good fight and protect your rights to a restriction free internet.

Now I think it's time for a little variety in my porn viewing. It is something that I would highly recommend to all of my porn friends, no matter where they live.
